Board of Directors

Share your voice at the table and play a part in affecing change. Jobwell’s volunteer Board of Directors bring a wide variety of skills and expertise in governing the not-for-profit organization. The affairs of the organization are managed by a board of up to 11 directors.

 

As a Board member, you could expect to volunteer 2 – 3 hours per month. Board members contribute by:
  • Providing operational guidance
  • Suggesting and approving ideas for new and existing businesses
  • Reviewing Financial Statements and approving allocation of funds
  • Providing guidance and input for policy development
  • Advocating on behalf of the corporation and its members
  • Contributing to planning and strategic exercises to ensure business growth
Jobwell holds comprehensive Directors and Officers’ liability insurance.
